The beginnings
It all began at the café La brume dans mes lunettes. Scones made almost by chance, a sudden and lasting craze, and then, the crazy idea of conquering the world with Le monde est scone.
Le monde est scone is the only company in Quebec to produce scones on this scale and of this quality. We offer versatile, not-too-intensive sizes (25g, 40g, 75g, 100g, and 135g), a variety of flavors to suit the latest tastes, all made with natural ingredients and no added preservatives.
We stand out from the competition through our attention to detail and strive to offer our customers a high-quality product. Our scones are soft on the inside and slightly crispy on the outside. It's the winning scone for every palate!
Our philosophy
Maintain the same product quality and preserve artisanal production in an industrial environment.
We're scone makers. We offer a product in the purest British tradition. It's full of butter, it's high in calories, but there's no hiding it. What you see is what you eat. Flour, butter, milk, eggs, fresh or dried vegetables and fruit, nothing more, nothing less. We select the best Canadian and Quebec ingredients because that's the right thing to do.
And beyond the facts, a good scone nourishes the soul, and that's all that matters.

Frequently asked questions
Who can open an account?
Any business that resells or serves our scones: café, restaurant, hotel, fine grocery store, caterer, institutional food service. Individuals can get our scones from our retailers or here: lemondeestscone.com
Why can't I see the prices?
Our wholesale prices are reserved for businesses. They appear as soon as your account is approved.
How long does approval take?
Under 24 business hours. Providing your NEQ (Quebec business number) at sign-up speeds things up. In a hurry? Call us at (514) 274-1212.
What is the minimum order?
It varies by region: $150 in Montréal (free delivery), $200 in the Eastern Townships, $250 in the Laurentians, $325 in Québec City and the Outaouais. Full fee details are in the Ordering information section.
How does delivery work?
Frozen, by our Scone Mobile, along our delivery corridors. Allow 5 business days for Montréal and a minimum of 10 for other regions. Your delivery day is confirmed by email when your account is approved. Make sure you have the freezer space ready.
My business isn't in your zones. Will you deliver to me?
Call us at (514) 274-1212. We often find a solution for businesses on the edge of our corridors.
How do we pay?
By invoice, net 7 days from delivery. No credit card required.
How do we bake the scones?
Straight from the freezer to the oven — no thawing. Even convection, 24 to 26 minutes at 325°F (160°C), rotating the trays halfway through. Every oven is different: do a first test batch and adjust to find your sweet spot.
How long do they keep?
Frozen at -18°C (0°F), at least 6 months. Once baked, they're at their best the same day: good and fresh all day long. Since there are no preservatives, the texture changes a little by the next day — denser, sometimes slightly drier. To keep them more than a day (maximum 2 days), store them in the fridge and reheat for 3 to 5 minutes at 350°F (175°C) just before serving.
What if my delivery arrives damaged?
Inspect it upon reception. Any issue (breakage, thawed product, quantity error) must be reported within 24 hours, with photos, at (514) 274-1212 or commandes@lemondeestscone.com.
